Working with legendary concert promotor Harvey Goldsmith and festival partners John Lewis, I was brought on board to Project Manage OnBlackheath 2016, London’s two day family festival. This was one the largest events I have had responsibility for and with that came a huge sense of reward.

We wanted our 40,000 ticket holders to have an imitable festival experince so various unique experiences. The very first Puffin World of Stories was born featuring a talking maze made from an overgrown bush area on the common and David O’Doherty entertained hundrerds of giggling children on the Magical Storytelling Stage. Festival food ranged from the simple and tasty to the michelin star and as such we created a 'michelin level' pop up resturant with Theo Randall, and a demo stage featuring the Hemsley Sisters, Ching he Huang, DJ BBQ and Jack Stein.
Finally - the music. Our three themed stages were taken over by world class talent such as James, Primal Scream and Belle and Sebastian.
There is an indescribable feeling of elation when building a festival and then watching the euphoric impact on attendees. An amazing project to be part of, working with the very best suppliers in the industry.
